Our Managing Director and Founder, Mr. Hassan Shaik Fareed started Embroidery Dot Com in the year 2000, after having been involved in the industry for 7 years. He began his career as the Head of the Embroidery Design Department and then quickly moved on to becoming Partner and Operations Director of a reputed firm.

Mr. Shaik Fareed read for a BSc. degree in Computer Science at the then, University of Durban- Westville and went on to complete a Graphic Design Diploma. He is formally trained in Embroidery Design, Development & Manufacturing having studied in 1994 at the prestigious Gunold+Stickma GmbH training institute in Stockstadt, Germany.

With his background in Computer Science and just when the world was dealing with the dot-com boom and the Y2K scare, Mr. Shaik Fareed saw a gap in the market for specialised embellishments and speed to market. Hence, Embroidery Dot Com was born with a focus on innovation and technology. He has since, consistently positioned the company as the leading and most modern embroidery production facility in the country.
